The parish church was presumably built in the first half of the 16th century in the Gothic-Aragonese style. Located in the town center, it represents the largest place of worship for the local population. From the original structure, one can still admire the grand Gothic portal and the square-based bell tower containing five bells, while the dome appears to date back to a subsequent intervention carried out between the 18th and 19th centuries. The two parish houses and the Oratory of the Rosary (Oratorio del Rosario) were built on the sides of the church.The building features a Latin cross plan with a main nave and two side aisles, along which three chapels are arranged on each side, while two more stand in the transepts. The chapels on the right feature marble altars, whereas those in the left chapels appear more modest. However, the baptismal font located in the Chapel of the Souls (cappella delle Anime) is of remarkable value. Additionally, four of the side chapels still preserve their pendant bosses, elements of typically Late Gothic taste. The high altar is made of marble and stands out for its precious polychrome inlays; the presbytery is elevated above the level of the central nave.The patron saint is invoked for the healing of physical ailments, more specifically for throat disorders. Religious celebrations are held every year on February 3rd, organized by the parish.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
